Caring for your jewelry
Caring for your jewelry
At DAYLO, our jewelry is made of stainless steel and plated with 18K gold.
To ensure your jewelry remains beautiful and durable for many years, we recommend following these five simple care tips:
Cleaning
Most of our jewelry is plated with 18K gold. Since the silver-colored jewelry is also gold-plated, you should avoid using too much pressure when cleaning.
Only use lukewarm water and a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid cleaning your jewelry too often, as excessive cleaning can wear down the gold plating over time.
Be extra careful when cleaning pearls. Pearls are delicate and should only be gently wiped with a soft cloth and a little lukewarm water — and not too often.
Do not sleep with your jewelry
Movement during sleep can put pressure on your jewelry and cause impact or damage.
We always recommend taking off your jewelry before going to bed.
Store your jewelry in a jewelry pouch
Jewelry should be stored in a dry, dark place, away from direct sunlight.
The included DAYLO jewelry pouch is ideal — it protects your jewelry and helps extend its lifespan.
Avoid direct sunlight
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration.
Therefore, avoid leaving your jewelry in direct sunlight for extended periods.
Avoid contact with hard surfaces
Bumps and scratches can occur if your jewelry comes into contact with hard surfaces.
Try to avoid contact with materials such as stone, metal, or other hard objects in daily life.
